Professor LUCY™ Privacy Policy

Professor LUCY™ is an educational application provided by The Lovely Coder Academy®. This Privacy Policy explains what information may be collected or processed when users access Professor LUCY™, how that information is used, how long it may be retained, how users may request deletion, and how information is protected.
This Privacy Policy applies to the Professor LUCY™ application available through the Apple App Store and Google Play, as well as related support services.
By accessing or using Professor LUCY™, users acknowledge the practices described in this Privacy Policy.
1. Information We May Collect
Depending on how Professor LUCY™ is used, the following types of information may be collected or processed:
User-Submitted Content
Professor LUCY™ may process questions, prompts, messages, feedback, and other educational content voluntarily submitted by users.
Users should not submit protected health information, patient records, medical-record numbers, Social Security numbers, full payment-card information, passwords, or other highly sensitive personal information through the app.
Audio and Speech Information
When a user activates the microphone feature, audio may be temporarily processed to convert speech into text.
The Lovely Coder Academy® does not intentionally store raw microphone recordings after speech recognition is completed. Speech-recognition features may rely on services provided by the user’s device, operating system, Apple, Google, or another technology provider.
Users may deny or revoke microphone and speech-recognition permissions through their device settings.
Subscription and Purchase Information
Subscriptions and in-app purchases are processed by Apple App Store or Google Play.
The Lovely Coder Academy® does not directly receive or store users’ complete payment-card numbers. Limited purchase information may be received or processed, including:
Subscription status
Product purchased
Transaction identifier
Purchase, renewal, expiration, or cancellation date
Purchase-restoration status
This information may be used to provide subscription access, restore purchases, respond to support requests, prevent fraud, and maintain required business records.
Device and Technical Information
Professor LUCY™ or its service providers may process limited technical information, including:
Device type
Operating-system version
App version
Language or regional settings
Crash reports
Diagnostic information
Error logs
General app-usage information
This information is used to maintain app functionality, troubleshoot problems, improve performance, and protect the app from fraud, misuse, and security threats.
Support Information
When a user contacts The Lovely Coder Academy®, information such as the user’s name, email address, message, screenshots, device platform, and relevant transaction information may be collected to provide support.
2. How We Use Information
Information collected or processed through Professor LUCY™ may be used to:
Provide educational responses and app functionality
Process user questions and prompts
Convert spoken questions into text
Confirm subscription access
Restore previous purchases
Respond to customer-support requests
Diagnose technical problems
Improve app reliability and user experience
Detect fraud, misuse, or security threats
Comply with legal, tax, accounting, and regulatory requirements
Enforce applicable terms, policies, and agreements
The Lovely Coder Academy® does not sell users’ personal information.
Professor LUCY™ does not use personal information for third-party behavioral advertising or cross-app tracking unless users are separately informed and any legally required permission is obtained.
3. Artificial Intelligence Processing
Professor LUCY™ uses artificial-intelligence technology to provide educational responses. Questions and prompts submitted by users may be transmitted to an artificial-intelligence service provider for the purpose of processing the request and returning a response.
Artificial-intelligence responses may be incomplete, inaccurate, or outdated. Professor LUCY™ is intended for educational purposes only and does not provide medical, legal, financial, coding-audit, billing, employment, or other professional advice.
Users should independently verify important information and should not rely on Professor LUCY™ to make decisions involving patient care, medical coding compliance, billing, legal matters, finances, personal safety, or other high-risk matters.
4. Purchases and Payment Processing
Subscriptions and in-app purchases may be processed by Apple App Store or Google Play.
The Lovely Coder Academy® does not directly process or store complete payment-card information. Apple and Google independently process payment information according to their own privacy policies, payment terms, and platform requirements.
Deleting the Professor LUCY™ app or submitting a data-deletion request does not automatically cancel a subscription. Users must manage or cancel their subscription through their Apple App Store or Google Play account.
5. Third-Party Services
Professor LUCY™ may use third-party service providers to support:
Artificial-intelligence responses
Speech recognition
App hosting and technical infrastructure
Subscription and payment processing
App distribution
Crash reporting and diagnostics
Security and fraud prevention
Customer support
These service providers may process limited information only as needed to provide their services, maintain security, prevent fraud, comply with legal obligations, or support Professor LUCY™ functionality.
Third-party service providers may maintain their own privacy policies and data-retention practices.
6. Data Retention
The Lovely Coder Academy® retains information only for as long as reasonably necessary to provide Professor LUCY™, respond to users, maintain security, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, prevent fraud, and enforce applicable agreements.
The following retention periods generally apply:
User Questions and Prompts
Questions, prompts, and related technical records controlled by The Lovely Coder Academy® may be retained for up to 30 days for response delivery, troubleshooting, security, and abuse prevention. They may be deleted sooner when they are no longer needed.
Raw Microphone Audio
Raw microphone audio is temporarily processed for speech recognition and is not intentionally retained by The Lovely Coder Academy® after the speech-to-text process is completed.
Diagnostic and Technical Information
Crash reports, diagnostic records, error logs, and security information may be retained for up to 90 days, unless a longer period is reasonably necessary to investigate fraud, abuse, a technical failure, or a security incident.
Support Communications
Customer-support requests and related communications may be retained for up to 24 months after the request is resolved.
Subscription and Transaction Records
Limited subscription, transaction, tax, accounting, and fraud-prevention records may be retained for up to seven years, or for any longer or shorter period required by applicable law.
When information is no longer needed, it is deleted, de-identified, anonymized, or securely disposed of.
Information processed by Apple, Google, artificial-intelligence providers, speech-recognition providers, or other third parties may be retained according to those providers’ own policies and legal obligations.
7. Data-Deletion Requests
Users may request deletion of personal information associated with their use of Professor LUCY™.

State whether Professor LUCY™ was accessed through Apple or Android.
Provide enough information for The Lovely Coder Academy® to identify the relevant records.
Users should not include passwords, complete payment-card information, patient information, medical records, or protected health information in a deletion request.
The Lovely Coder Academy® may request additional information when reasonably necessary to verify the identity of the requester and prevent unauthorized deletion.
Verified deletion requests will generally be processed within 30 days.
After a valid request is processed, eligible information associated with the user will be deleted or anonymized. Certain information may be retained when required for legal, tax, accounting, fraud-prevention, security, dispute-resolution, or regulatory purposes.
If information cannot be deleted immediately, the user may be informed of the reason and the applicable retention period.
Submitting a deletion request does not automatically cancel an Apple App Store or Google Play subscription. Subscriptions must be cancelled through the user’s Apple or Google account.
8. User Privacy Choices
Users may:
Decline microphone access
Revoke microphone or speech-recognition permission through device settings
Stop submitting questions, prompts, or other content
Request access to eligible personal information
Request correction of inaccurate personal information
Request deletion of eligible personal information
Manage or cancel subscriptions through Apple App Store or Google Play
Stop using and uninstall the app
Revoking a device permission may prevent certain features, including voice input, from working.
9. Data Security
The Lovely Coder Academy® uses reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information against unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, loss, misuse, or destruction.
However, no internet transmission, cloud service, mobile application, or electronic-storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
Users should not submit confidential patient information, protected health information, passwords, financial-account information, or other highly sensitive information through Professor LUCY™.
10. Healthcare and Sensitive Information
Professor LUCY™ is an educational application and is not intended to receive, maintain, or transmit protected health information on behalf of healthcare providers, health plans, clearinghouses, or other regulated organizations.
Users must not enter information such as:
Patient names
Medical-record numbers
Dates of birth
Social Security numbers
Insurance identification numbers
Clinical documents
Identifiable medical histories
Billing records containing patient identifiers
Any other protected health information
Professor LUCY™ is not represented as an electronic health-record system, patient-care platform, or HIPAA-compliant data-storage service.
11. Children’s Privacy
Professor LUCY™ is not directed to children under the age of 13.
The Lovely Coder Academy® does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If a parent or legal guardian believes that a child has submitted personal information, the parent or guardian may submit a deletion request through the Contact page.
Verified personal information involving a child will be deleted unless retention is legally required.
12. International Users
Information may be processed in the United States or in other locations where service providers operate. Privacy and data-protection laws may differ between jurisdictions.
Users who have additional privacy rights under applicable law may submit a request through the Contact page.
13. Changes to This Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy may be updated to reflect changes to Professor LUCY™, service providers, legal requirements, security practices, or Apple and Google platform policies.
When changes are made, the revised policy will display an updated “Last Updated” date. Material changes may also be communicated through the app, website, or applicable app-store listing when appropriate.
